The limited warranty will commence on the date you receive your furniture, referred to here as Warranty Commencement Date. For the first year from the Warranty Commencement Date, your furniture is warranted against non-excluded defects in workmanship or materials to the original purchaser (See list of exclusions below). During the 1st year from the Warranty Commencement Date, American Furniture Warehouse (AFW) will repair or replace (at no cost to you) any defective part(s) and pay all authorized labor costs associated with the repair or replacement of any parts to be found defective, at AFW’s sole discretion, to the original purchaser only, so long as parts are available from the manufacturer. Purchaser is responsible for transportation costs if not initially delivered by AFW.
TV Warranty is covered through Samsung for 1 year. You can schedule a repair via the Samsung website or by calling 1-800-SAMSUNG.
If you request repair of an item not covered under warranty you will be responsible for charges for labor, transportation, and materials (see Post Warranty Service below).
Refunds are not available past the 30-day return period (see returns page). TV’s are not returnable once opened.
AFW will follow the manufacturer’s warranty after the 1-year Warranty Commencement Date. AFW’s liability is limited to the replacement of the covered defective part(s) ONLY, and only if parts are available from the manufacturer. The purchaser is responsible for all service, installation, and transportation costs associated with the repair.
After the 1-Year Limited Warranty. AFW will charge a one-time in-home service tech fee of $49 for warranty evaluation. Additional labor charges of $45.00 per hour will be added for assessment, installation, transportation, and labor repairs. Estimates for repairs will be submitted to you for approval before repairs are made.
The decision to service, repair or to replace defective parts under this Post Warranty Service shall be made by AFW at its option and in its sole discretion. You are responsible to pay all service fees, labor, installation charges, transportation charges, and physical part(s) costs. Part(s) prices will be charged on an individual basis. Estimates for repairs and parts will be submitted to you for approval before any repairs are made.
Floor models are warranted against manufacturing defects for the period of 90 days from the Warranty Commencement Date to the original purchaser. During the 90 days AFW will repair or replace at no cost to you any defective part(s) with the purchaser responsible for all service, installation, and transportation cost of said part(s). After the 90 Day Floor Model Warranty expires, Post Warranty Service will be initiated.

This warranty does not apply; (a) to any damage caused by abuse, neglect or misuse of product in a way that it was not intended; (b) if there has been any repair or replacement previously by an unauthorized person or company; (c) furniture used in a commercial or non-residential setting; (d) furniture sold as-is/one-only(see 90 Day Floor Model Warranty) (e) furniture that was improperly maintained, including but not limited to: the use of harsh chemicals, water damage, pet damage, mold, fabric fading or discoloration due to exposure to the elements, the use of incorrect bed support systems or bed frames; (f) normal wear and tear including but not limited to: piling, wrinkling, seam separation and foam cushion settling; (g) natural wood grain characteristics including knots, cracks as well as color fastness or dye lot variations; (h) any product found to be in an unsafe or unsanitary condition; (I) the limited warranty excludes claims made outside of American Furniture Warehouse’s servicing areas.
Any damage must be reported, and pictures provided to AFW, within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise. Returns other than for manufacture defects will be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee (see returns page). All warranties, whether express or implied, cover only normal household usage. No warranty, express or implied, applies to any condition resulting from misuse, abuse, delivery or transportation damage.
