I purchased a sofa for my new unit on line Navy Federal bank btw received confirmation of purchase to only be advised they cancelled order due to card decline so once I received the email later I contacted bank to only be advised it was declined which I knew the funds were there but they kicked it back to only have to wait now on my money for additional 6day to return.Bottom line there was no real communication to why .it was very disappointing So lack of communication is why I can’t support or shop at this furniture store.I paid more at a more prestigious store Star ⭐️ furniture and had no issues and made me feel like they wanted my business.

I gave one star because of the seller, they have bad service to the customer. You ask to talk to a manager and they don’t provide service for you so you can solve your problem. The one that makes the delivery has a very bad attitude when he calls you. He lies when he makes a report, he says he calls you a bunch of times but he doesn’t, I explain ed to him that there was an error they never called me and they were calling another number which I told the seller to remove and the delivery even like that doesn’t accept leaving me my purchases. I’m looking for a way to contact the general manager so the owner knows the treatment the clients are receiving from customer service, especially, from someone named rosi that possibly dint even give me her real name because I said I was going to report her. The products say that they’ve been inspected and even then the products come damaged by the manufacturer, they’re doing a very bad job I tell them that if they don’t help me solve my problem I am going to return my purchase of almost 4,000 dollars, and they say they don’t care. Great place to buy furniture, especially if you’re on a budget. Their prices really do beat Amazon and wayfair, and so does their quality. This place has the best deals, period. You can buy in store or online. They also deliver. I had my couch delivered and they arrived on time and it was super quick. Pickup was also very smooth. I definitely recommend this place.

We purchased a power dual reclining sofa, and picked it up a week later. They were very helpful both times we were in the store, and the prices are incredible. If you have to move it yourself, I recommend renting one of their vans (if one's available). The sofa is terrific. It doesn't get used a ton, but it looks sharp, works great, and was a fraction of the cost we expected to pay. Their entire staff is really helpful and courteous, from the moment you walk in to the people renting you the van and the people loading it for you. They've earned the 5 star rating.

Literally cheap for cheap furniture. Horrible customer service. Fighting with me over a 100 ottoman that is damaged after 30 days and I noticed it…I will never be back and will never allow anyone I know to buy such poor quality. What a joke…and by the way- sales guy couldn’t point out but two items in the entire showroom that were real wood….its worse than IKEA manufactured particle board.

I purchased a couch and was quite pleased with the price and delivery, but the in-store sales process was disappointing. I entered the store knowing exactly what I wanted and browsed independently to find the item that suited my needs. Unfortunately, no salesperson approached me, and several seemed to avoid me when I attempted to engage them. Ultimately, I had to corner a salesperson to insist on service before he agreed to process my order. Once the order was placed, the subsequent steps were handled smoothly. It's worth mentioning that this occurred on a Wednesday morning when the store was not busy.

Truly disappointed with my experience today purchasing at American Furniture. I came to buy a cocktail table, which had a false advertisement of “ALWAYS THE LOWEST PRICE ANYWHERE”. The same exact table was available at Kassa Mall Furniture for a cheaper price. I tried to do a price match with the person at the front desk and after getting back with his manager I was told that I am not able to get the same price match, not sure why. Most furniture always do price matches, but I guess this store is too good at false advertisement.

I recently financed a couch using Klarna through American Furniture’s online store. The checkout process seemed smooth, and I was glad to see Klarna would allow me to pay in installments. The only stated requirements for pickup were to bring my ID and the credit card used for the order. Since I paid with a digital card issued by Klarna, I thought I was well-prepared (I had with me all the info of the card)
Today, I went to pick up my couch. However, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. The staff member at the pickup desk, Isaih, showed a lack of professionalism and seemed uninterested in helping. When I presented my ID and explained I had used a digital card, he refused to release the couch, insisting that I needed a physical card—even though I showed him the card details in my Klarna app.
I asked to speak with a manager, but Isaih’s response was dismissive, saying, “He will tell you the same thing I just did.” When the manager arrived, he confirmed that policy without any effort to understand my situation or offer a solution. The website makes no mention of needing a physical card, which left me feeling blindsided.
To add to the frustration, I had rented a truck for the pickup, costing me $50, and had taken a day off from work, which feels completely wasted. This experience not only cost me time and money but left me feeling disappointed and dismissed. It’s disheartening to see such apathy and a lack of empathy from their pickup department staff, especially when I had followed all the guidelines provided.

Would have given them zero stars if I had the option. I usually don’t leave any reviews whatsoever but they really didn’t even deserve one star. Horrible customer service, had to wait over two months to receive my purchase. Was mislead multiple times. Then told that the salesman forgot a piece on our original order and tried to charge me $100 extra when the order finally came in. Then when I came to pick up it took over an hour for them to load up. We were really let down, especially on the customer service.

My brother-in-law and I both purchased similar electric recliner sofas from American Furniture at a premium price on the same day. The sofas initially worked well, but just a few days before his warranty expired, my brother-in-law’s sofa had a broken wooden support bar. Unfortunately, American Furniture refused to cover the repair, stating that the broken wood bar was not included in the warranty, so he had to pay $270 for the repair.
Our sofa lasted about a month longer but is now also out of warranty. These sofas were very lightly used—probably only around 50 days throughout the year, and exclusively by 2 members. Curious, I decided to inspect the wood bar myself, and upon removing the staples, I found that the wood quality seemed insufficient and prone to breakage. Given this experience, I would not recommend purchasing sofas from American Furniture. Please see the attached picture for reference.

Shopping in the store and making a purchase was so fun and easy. We purchased a bed frame and sofa with electric reclining seats. My husband and I left super excited. This would be a 5 star rating if it weren’t for the delivery. The delivery arrived at my home. The delivery guys told my husband that they didn’t know where one of our power cords for our couch was. They complained that this was the issue with driving someone else truck (???). Only one side of our couch (which also had seat massagers, heaters and lights, and wireless charging pads which all required the cord) was working. Later they called back and said they found it in the back of their truck but we could either go pick it up at the Katy store or League City store both of which would be very far for us. We drove about an hour and 20 mins to go get the cord. I voiced that I was upset about this and explained what happened to the guy at the customer service desk. In front of me, he stops a manager (Laquita) gives her a brief summary and asks her what to do. Without even making eye contact with me, she says “$20 dollar gas credit” and walks off. As someone who just spent thousands in their store I expected at least an apology or an opportunity to explain what happened. I feel blessed to have a couch and bed so I took the credit but be careful if you’re getting your order delivered!

Absolute train wreck getting things delivered.
Went in on Monday October 14th morning purchased a little under $4k worth of furniture, was told all but one piece would be delivered between 9am and 11am on Wednesday October 16th.
Wednesday rolls around, haven't heard a peep from store or delivery people.
I call the store after they open at 10am, I am told that the sales person made a mistake and that furniture will not be delivered until the end of the week. After being put on hold for about 10 minutes I finally speak to a customer service representative who was not able to fully rectify the situation. Instead I was offered 50% of my delivery fee refunded.
For the subpar quality of furniture that is offered, and the very lackluster customer service that is garnered when errors by their staff are made. I would urge you to reconsider shopping at this absolute dumpster fire of a furniture store.
Go to IKEA, Living Spaces or one of the other stores in the area that have competent staff.

I bought the Lydia Sterling Gray Sofa
SKU: Z12-2603 By Peak Living. It came with two back support pillows that I didn't like the color or design. For some reason I thought all the back support pillows were going to be gray. After speaking with the salesperson he informed me that the pillows that I didn't like were part of the back support and those were the pillows that came with the sofa. I called customer service and spoke with Tiffany. I didn't get her last name, but she provided amazing service. I told her I was willing to pay for two gray large pillows. You checked to see if she could get the pillows and told me it would take over a month before they would come in. The pillows came to me home and I didn't need to make a trip to the store to pick them up. The process for purchasing and getting the sofa delivered was seamless. The delivery drivers were professional and nice. Overall I had a good shopping experience and I liked the price for the sofa!

The best quality brands and the best prices in the Houston area. I shopped around at several furniture stores recommended by family and friends on Saturday. After six hours of shopping I ended up at my favorite furniture store AFW where I found everything I wanted and more. I was able to spend less and purchase more. If you haven't been here, detour, turnaround and make your way here before you buy your next piece of furniture. One more thing makes them my favorite place to shop. it's the scooters available for people like myself with disabilities. Not one of the other stores offered scooters.
