Always quick, friendly service. We were in and out within 30 mins. The salesman who helped us, helped select our items, ordered it, and set up delivery. He was fun, laughable, and very informative. Would highly recommend this location.

Do not order on the website!!!! It will give you an error, but charge your card. This has happened twice. No order and out the money until it drops off as a pending charge.

First time shopper! I was blown away by my experience! I went to look at one couch and there were like 10 other ones to choose that were similar. So many choices! My experience shopping was so positive. No one “bothered” us while we looked around and when we were ready to purchase, Robert was so fun to work with. He was actually fun! I can’t wait to go back to purchase my next item when I need it. What a great experience! I can’t speak highly enough of this store and Robert!

The only thing I don't like from american furniture is that if they're delayed for the item, they will not call you right away i have to come and find out. When is it going to be arriving? And they tell me that it's been here for a week.I'm, they're not sure why they haven't called me or set up a deliver

Wow what a great shopping experience.. I hate going into those big stores with a lot of sales people…first of all you don’t know whose is going to help you and you just hope that person is knowledgeable about the product and not pushy…well Carey was very professional & knowledgeable about the furniture… he wasn’t pushy at all and let us wander around that huge store on our own until we found something….i would definitely recommend AFW for your furniture needs

Furniture is alright. The pre put together furniture you get ends up falling apart within a month. What I’m mainly here for is the financing aspect which is quite horrible. With American first finance you think it’s great pay it bit weekly for what the price is. Yet here I am 7-8 months later continuing to pay. As I do the math I’ve already payed $600+ more than that I signed to. I also still have a remaining balance. I’m paying an extra $1200 on top of what I financed at AFW. ABSOLUTE BS

Overall, the sales and purchase experience was positive. Emma provided exceptional service, offering assistance when needed while allowing us space to browse independently. She checked in periodically to see if we required any further help, demonstrating a great attitude, strong product knowledge, and a professional, can-do demeanor. We truly appreciated her service.
However, the experience with the other customer service team members was less than satisfactory. After losing a notebook in the store, I approached three staff members, but they displayed little interest in helping locate it. The notebook had been placed in the lost and found area, yet none of the staff took the initiative to check thoroughly. Eventually, I found an associate who confirmed it had been turned in. When I returned to the service desk, the staff member was reluctant to assist further, insisting on contacting the associate first. After a delay, she eventually retrieved the notebook, but her attitude and lack of customer care were disappointing.

Tbh this is probably the 1st furniture store I've been too where every customer service member that came up to us had a friendly attitude & kept asking us "Can I help you with anything?" Not once were we ignored & the prices are we within budget highly recommend

AGAIN, THE COMPANY HAS FAILED TO DELIVER. MY COUCH HAS BEEN REPARED 3 X IN Less THAN A YEAR. WHEN DELIVERED BACK THEY DIDNT BRING THE CORD FOR RECLINING. CALLEd 2 days ago. No contact, so called today. No sx mgr has called back as promised. Asked for a customer sx mgr and was transferred back to original queue. No one is accountable, no timelibes are given for when someone is suppose to call. So after purchase of a $2K couch, that has had to repaired 3 times, nooone wants to talk to me about this missing cord, and the rep just transferred me into a queue instead of to a mgr. So I have to be at their mercy. REALLY POOR SERVICE, SO THINK TWICE.

Updating review again... Received the furniture today! Luv them! First they said delivery would be Tuesday, then they said 2 weeks later, but it ended up being today Saturday. So I am relatively happy about that. I don't know why they couldn't give me more accurate delivery date from the beginning. And if they truly don't know for sure they should say that, and then give me what the latest date would be, but never give some early delivery date that is highly unlikely and will just disappoint the customer when it isn't delivered then. This is the reason for 4 star and not 5.
Updating review... Last week I spent a lot of money and the floor person said I will get my items Monday or Tuesday at the latest of this week! That info was not true at all! Come to find out my items aren't anywhere in the country and are being shipped from China and are not here yet, and it will be at least 2 weeks! Wow, it would have been nice if they were truthful from the beginning! On the phone the customer service lady was not very nice, she acted like it was my fault and she was annoyed that I was even asking where my items were! Very unhappy!
I had never been to a AFW store before. It was very nice inside, and the floor people were very helpful and friendly. I ended up buying a reclining sofa and coffee table that I thought were great! The exact same items are on Amazon for more money, so I would say I got a great deal at AFW!

I really love this place!! They have tons of selections no matter what kind of furniture or decor you are looking for. They advertise having friendly, no pressure sales reps, and they really do mean that!! At no time did I feel pressured or intimidated to make a purchase and i was in there for over an hour or 2. The sales reps that I did speak to were very friendly and informative. The prices are extremely reasonable as well, which is rare in modern times.

I have bought things from AFW and always had a good experience until this time, I purchased 4 sets of bed frames, and one of them came dirty and looked used had a rip on it the screws came in a zip lock bag and had screws missing I spoke with customer service who sent me out a new one after the picture when I received the new one it was still missing screws that I needed to assemble I spoke with Melissa who was great and offered me 50 dollar credit and got thebouece for me she said I had to go to the warehouse to pick it up and when I get home to ser up the bed the one of the pieces to headboard won't tighten due to the threaded hole been stripped is frustrated that my 9 year old daughter won't have a bed to sleep again cuz they can't get it right the 1st definitely the worst experience I've ever had

Robyn M. from the Glendale location definitely exceeded my expectations. She demonstrated excellent customer service and went above and beyond to make the impossible possible in a very proficient and timely manner. After several phone calls and weeks looking for a discontinued item at AFW, Robyn was the only employee who was able to locate the furniture piece immediately and coordinate shipment and delivery from out of state all within half an hour. Looking forward to working with Robyn again in any future purchases!!!

Every time I try to purchase something from here I have issues with pick up and it takes hours to just purchase furniture. We are not financing a car or mortgaging a house. We are buying a piece of furniture, no finance. It shouldn't be that difficult to buy furniture. We always have issues picking up items as well. We don't get text messages or they don't put us in the queue correctly. I'm not shopping here anymore.

The person that rang up the bill was very impatient. If it wasn't for the fact that we were only in town for a few days and had to make the purchase. We would have waited another time to make a purchase with another person. Made buying new furniture unpleasant.
However, the piece ordered was pushed up 3 weeks sooner than expected. That was a happy experience. Thanks.

If you want furniture less durable than poop, go here. You'll get great prices of Far Eastern made garbage that doesn't last 6 month. Bought a power recliner and office chair here, and both were nearly worthless after a few months. One of the 5 worst purchases I've made in my 50 years as an adult and the adult who's picture is in the store bragging about their margins conveniently doesn't tell you the furniture quality is MARGINAL. My purchases were made in late summer 2023.

THE WORST, lazy as can be. Called me one time and moved on. Called back 1 min later and was on a 30 min hold to be told they have moved on! Gave me a time frame and was no where in the frame. Unprofessional customer service who hate there job and no care for people belongings. The front office of my apt said they saw them (moving truck) for 5 mins sitting in there truck and took off. The worst experience ever. I would never order with American furniture again just because of this! Want to credit me a free reschedule free of charge like they're doing me a favor! It's your mess up! You should but The inconvenience of me having to wait another couple days with no furniture is beyond me

Our first visit here with our mission to buy a leather loveseat recliner and AFW hit it out of the park. Night and day difference between our experience with Ashley's. Raul was courteous, professional and offered us different selections until we made our purchase. Love the leather loveseat and the price was unbeatable too!

I have been buying furniture for 60 years with my wife who does Interior decorating. She has done dozens of houses from bedroom sets, family room couches and tables, dining room sets, home office hutches and desks, wall paintings and decor and kitchen and room backsplashes and accent walls. Anyway we have a new house and she wanted to get a sleeper couch along with a side table and chest of draws for when guests come to visit and should happen to stay over (grand children). Anyway we went to America Furniture and I have to say, I was blown away by the products they carry and the LOW prices. We have spent, during the years, thousands of dollars on a sleeper couch, tables and chest of draws. We actually bought a couch with a Sealy Mattress, all wood frame, NO PRESSED BOARD, and metal heavy duty framing. I asked the salesman how they can sell for such low prices and it's because of the volume of items they buy to stock their MANY locations. When we came out to Arizona 6 years ago we shopped in private stores thinking the quality was better. Well IT WAS NOT. We spent thousands of dollars on furniture which did not stand up and the private stores basically would do nothing for us. Well I would definitely recommend American Furniture if you're looking for inexpensive furniture that looks and stands up to the over priced deals elsewhere.

Great prices, nice showroom. Plenty of people who offered to help, but when we said "just looking" they said "ok, let us know if you need help". When decision was made to purchase, associate was very nice and extremely helpful. We were taking it with us, so it was loaded and tied into the truck. Easy, peasy!

I love going here. There are so many great furniture deals here for all types. This is one of my go-to spots for big furniture purchases. Their food court also offers free water bottles, which is such a nice gesture with it being so hot here. The only negative, which isn’t really a negative, is the amount of sales workers on the floor. There’s at least one in every section, and every single one will approach you to see if need anything. I kinda prefer exploring unbothered and then finding help when I need it. It doesn’t deter me, but it’s a little annoying being stopped every few minutes.

We bought a beautiful living room set about four months ago $2500. We just purchased another one for our family room, and it was broken. We were told from Customer Care who is extremely rude. Spoke to three people and got hung up on that, I couldn’t exchange it, even though I was paying the extra money. She seemed to make a big deal about some thing and wanted to argue with me. What happened to the customers always right. She tried to accuse us of breaking the couch. Had to call manager of the store who took care of everything. Also went to pick up a lamp day before and recorded the gentleman in garage. Six where you pick up your things shaking my lamp back-and-forth in a box. Reported that as well. Extremely upset I don’t think any of this was fair that even had to pay , more money. It should’ve just been fixed and done politely. Recommend the furniture but I think that they need new employees. They forget that the customers or what keep them going and that’s what keeps their pay and their jobs. They need to learn where they stand and always be polite .
I have the email of this customer care person she should be fired. Not acceptable by any means. Reporting to the Better Business Bureau.
Not happy with there customer care people and when you pick up your stuff. Change in this store is needed in employees. I have copies of email to show better business bureau as I also recorded the call. Just so everyone knows you can record anyone without letting them know it’s legal.

The sales staff are awesome! The diversity of furniture styles is impressive. I have my favorite sales people but honestly are All pretty great. Moved here from out of state had to basically buy everything all over, they were so patient, I literally went there 6 times before I bought my living room furniture, they jumped through every crazy hoop I threw at them without skipping a beat , Love this place!

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST delivery experience I have EVER received. This is also the worst delivery customer service I have ever received. They sent out a phone call, email and text message stating they would be here at a specific date and time. They showed up a completely different day and time without warning. We received a call apologizing stating there were multiple clients having this issue and something was wrong with their system. They scheduled a new day and time and said they would call 30 minutes in advance and then showed up 5 hours earlier than the time with no phone call. We then received a call from the manager saying the driver had to wait because of the error. We left our home and headed straight to the new house to meet the drivers to pull up to the house and receive a phone call that said they need to reschedule and the driver left.
This is horrible business. What made this even more horrible is the lack of care on the delivery team for their failures to the customer. It feels terrible to be so excited and walk in a store and have wonderful experience in purchasing and be left with this great feeling to be met with this disappointing disaster on a delivery experience. I truly am feeling bad I ever dealt with the company and wish I would’ve taken my business elsewhere as I understand mistakes can happen but it’s all in now you deal with them. This was the poorest example of service.
I HAD TO COME BACK AND EDIT AND ADD THIS… I just called again about the delivery and I’m sitting on the floor of my new home and I get an agent who says she will transfer me to a person who can help me.. a man picks up and I ask if he can help straighten out my delivery issue… he said “I don’t work here, I am a customer”
He said he was at the store buying furniture and trying to pick it up. WILDEST MOMENT in poor service history ever. How does your customer service line transfer one customer to another.
I didn’t think the experience could get any worse. I hope the owner gets to read these and see how terrible the delivery team is

You can spend hours here looking at their massive selection of almost any piece of furniture/decor you need for your home. I've purchased here multiple times, and I love that you can pick up your items the same day. Everything I've owned has held up great, and the only reason I've replaced an item is because of our style changing. With a store this size, be prepared to run into multiple associates checking on you, but they are never pushy, and any always ready to help.

Be very cautious when purchasing anything from this store. The sales people will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to buy it. When it gets delivered, inspect it thoroughlybefore the delivery drivers leave. I paid $900 for an item and it's damaged.And they refused to fix it because it was on sale. I would have never bought it if I knew I was going to get a damaged item.
