In this week's Designer's Den, we're going to show you how to create the perfect loft. Tune in!
Every loft is different and capable of so much when you let your imagination run wild. We will show you how to turn your loft into a home with an entryway, lounging area, dining space, office, and bedroom.
Entryway
The entryway, styled by in-house designer, Miriam, is a great example of modern contemporary design. It features a Black Chevron Bone Console as the statement piece people see upon entry and is accompanied by a Round Black Aluminum Mirror. The combination of the console and the mirror set up the color palette for the loft and create the illusion of a bigger space. To dress things up further, an orange orchid and Wood Square Candle Holder – Set of 3 have been added as accents.
Living Space/Lounging Area
For the lounging area, our designers mixed things up by forgoing the typical loveseat, sofa, and chair setup. Instead, she used two sofas positioned across from one another to create a clean, conversational space. To add some warmth, she is using the Toedoe Fireplace Console for a TV stand.
Office Space
For an office space, we have continued our modern motif with the Fontana Executive Desk and the Fontana Etagere. These pieces are beautiful and perfect for your office and decor needs. Both provide a great amount of storage for your books, files, etc. Feel free to add texture with a Bamboo Plant , a Blue Glass Bottle, or a White Round Necked Vase.
Dining Area
Continuing with the modern look of the loft, we've incorporated the Hyndell 7 Piece Dining Set. This set serves up clean-lined, contemporary style with a sleek, linear profile and rich espresso finish. It also features plush, velvety texture cushions. This set also comes with an expansion leaf to adjust your table size. We've also added the Fontana Credenza to use as a multi-purpose buffet. To brighten up the dining corner, we added Hand Painted Abstract Art.
Bedroom Suite
Our bedroom is on arguably one of the most important places in our living space. So, for our loft, we've made a gorgeous, modern bedroom suite. Here we've utilized our Maribel Collection by Ashely Furniture by featuring the Maribel King Bed, Maribel Nightstand, Maribel Mirror, and Maribel Dresser. For accents, we added the Lynx Accent Chair, Sun Spirit Orange Accent Pillows, Rust Velvet Decorative Pillows. To anchor the area, we used our colorful Holland Luther Multi Rug
