AFW & Project C.U.R.E Providing Much Needed Medical Supplies Around the World

AFW makes giving back part of our mission.
Our Founder and CEO, Jake Jabs, leads by example and has ensured that American Furniture Warehouse has been actively involved in the communities we serve for over 40 years.

One organization that our team has supported in many ways throughout the years is Project C.U.R.E.

Project C.U.R.E.’s mission is to identify, solicit, collect, sort, and deliver medical supplies and services to communities in need, around the world.

Project C.U.R.E. was founded in a Colorado garage in 1987 and has grown to become a vital part of the mile-high community and economy. As the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies, equipment, and services, Project C.U.R.E provides medical relief in more than 135 countries.

Project C.U.R.E. has an International Headquarters in Denver as well as seven U.S. locations, which include distribution centers where they accept donations of used medical supplies and equipment, and where volunteers sort and prepare the items for shipment to locations all over the world.

AFW team members were honored to take time out of our days to organize, sort and pack equipment at the Jake Jabs Warehouse for the World this August.
Each year, team members spend hours helping Project C.U.R.E provide this necessary equipment, and we want you to know how to get involved in this incredible mission!

Project C.U.R.E. facilities across the country need volunteers who are ready to roll up their sleeves and lend a helping hand to help sort and package medical supplies, stock inventory, prepare for shipments, and load containers.
You can sign up as a group, or as an individual on the Project C.U.R.E website.
