Jacqueline Pearson Art

Jacqueline Pearson is a native of New Orleans who, for the last 20 years has lived and painted in Colorado Springs. She began studying painting in 1972 at Laguna School of Art in California. Since that time, personal art instruction with many well-known artists and on-going nationwide workshops have become a passion for her. She considers the expression of texture as a tool to reach the viewers own level of intellect and enjoys creating dynamic and colorful abstracts as well as paintings of a more expressionistic style. With her abstracts, her intention is to invite the viewer to experience the presence of the painting and come away with her/his own interpretation. Her paintings have won numerous awards and have found their way to collectors in the U.S., India and Great Britain. She is a member of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society, the Colorado Springs Art Guild and the Pikes Peak Pastel Society.
